MIddle Ground...the story of how this team came together is the story
of family, its growth and regrouping. Originally started around 2005,
a group of Chicago heads started with an idea - Hip Hop that isn't
concerned with being "Underground" or "Mainstream", and there for can
maintain a balance of quality music. A "Middle Ground" between all the
different styles and sub genres of street music.
The idea was always there, but the team hadn't shaped yet. After a
failed attempt to create magic with an initial release, the group went
there separate ways after one year...

...only to come back in 2012, renewed, reinvigorated, and reformed
into what has become a unit and family, Middle Ground is not only the
idea of balance, but also the work ethic of the MIddle Class. We are a
group of friends who have come together to make dope hip hop shit for
those who appreciate the principles and rawness of quality hip hop. We
thank you for taking the time to pay attention and look forward to
